Job description
We are looking to recruit a permanent Poultry Farm Worker who is enthusiastic, hardworking and who is not afraid of getting their hands dirty, as well as being able to keep computer and paper records to a high standard.
A knowledge of Poultry is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
The successful candidate would be part of a small team working 46 hours over 6 days per week and this will necessitate working weekends, early mornings and late evenings including some through the night work to reflect the operational needs of the business and staff holidays.
Car owner is essential.
Salary: Starting @ £24,000.00 increasing to £26,000.00 on completion of a successful probation period
Main responsibilities is to look after the welfare of the poultry. Assist in setting up houses for a chick intake
- Carry out daily checks and culling
- Recording information
- Cleaning and tidying
- Assist with tipping of day old chicks.
