We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated and well-organised individual to contribute to the work of the PGR Support Team in Research Services, by providing administrative support for the training programme undertaken by all postgraduate research students.
You will take a proactive approach to your work and have excellent communication and information
management skills. You need to demonstrate a customer-focussed approach, and an ability to understand and apply rules and policies to help you to advise students and staff. You will have experience of managing your own workload as well as supporting colleagues with theirs. Regular tasks include:
- Offering advice and guidance to students and staff;
- Maintaining accurate records, e.g. managing students’ results and scholarship awards;
- Supporting other team members to deliver events, communications, and initiatives for PGRs and supervisors.
