Coodes Solicitors is a modern law firm offering specialist legal advice. An opportunity has arisen to join our centralised post team where you will process all incoming and outgoing mail for the firm.
What you will do:
Subject to your skills and experience you will:
- Scan, file and store all mail and original documentation
- Process and send post out in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide assistance to the archivists in storing of original documents
- Assist in retrieving and scanning of original documents in storage
- Assist in retrieving and scanning of paper files, checking and destroying
- Assist with offsite storage and clearance
- Provide some overflow call handling
- Provide occasional overflow typing support
Skills and Experience you need:
- Team working skills
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Flexibility and dependability
- Conscientious, approachable and enthusiastic
- Experience of legal secretarial work will be advantageous but is not essential
- Clean driving licence advantageous but not essential
This role would suit an experienced legal secretary looking for a new opportunity in a collaborative environment but we would also be pleased to hear form candidates with related experience in administration, post room or customer service environments.
This role would also be suitable for a candidate with a desire and aptitude to work in the legal sector as an Apprentice (Business admin level 3). Post Room provides an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and support the breath of our legal services. Hours
This is a full time position. 35 hours a week Monday to Friday.
