COUNTER CLERK POSITION MONDAY TO FRIDAY 1.00PM TO 5.00PM AND ALTERNATE SATURDAYS
Due to a new opportunity at Beaumont Leys Post Office, there is now a need to recruit new members to create a successful team.

Beaumont Leys Post Office, Bradgate Mall, Beaumont Leys Shopping Centre, Leicester LE4 1DE
Part time - 20 hours per week Monday to Friday PM and alternate Saturday's.
Must be flexible to cover additional hours when required. Would suit confident individual as you would be dealing with cash and stock in Branch. Therefore, DBS check required with verified references.
Rate of pay - £10.42ph (Performance related bonus potentially available)

The Opportunity
Do you enjoy working in a challenging and interactive environment? We are currently looking for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for customer service to join our successful Post Office team, promoting our products and services in our Branch in Beaumont Leys Shopping Centre.
Full training will be provided including initial Branch training. Uniform also to be provided.
The Accountabilities * Serving customers quickly and efficiently, ensuring they are fully informed of all relevant services on offer. * Working effectively and proactively towards individual and Branch targets * Completing transactions in an accurate and timely manner to provide a positive customer experience * Demonstrate good product knowledge to customers on key promotions and offers, maximising all selling opportunities. * Ensuring necessary administration is completed. * Adhering to all security procedures, ensuring that a high level of security awareness is observed at all times. The role is solely Branch based.
The Requirements * Good level of numeracy * Strong communication skills and ability to participate as a key team member. * Experience gained with a customer based environment. Post Office experience preferred but not essential. Full training provided.

- Talent to ensure excellent customer service for all customers
- Strong conversational skills, active listening and responding to customers’ needs
- Quick to identify potential business opportunities and keen to implement innovative ways of working to promote Post Office products within the business.
