We are currently looking for a new permanent team member with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to join our Independently run Post Office and retail shop.

We are ideally looking for someone with previous Post Office/Banking or Retail customer service experience, to work around 24 hours a week (predominantly afternoon shift) over both post office and retail counter – Monday to Friday. You will be flexible, as required, to work additional hours to cover colleague absence or busy periods which may include occasional Saturday shift.

Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers in a professional manner
- Selling stamps and weighing /charging for letters and parcels.
- Accepting payment for a wide variety of bills, such as electricity, gas and water bills.
- Banking and cash withdrawals for both personal and business customers
- Ordering retail/ Post Office items and dealing with stock.
Full training shall be provided for both the Post office and shop till systems.
Basic DBS check will be required as part of Post Office requirement.
