Job description
We are seeking to appoint a Post-Doctoral Research assistant to work with us in the Centre for Health Promotion Research (CHPR) https://www.leedsbeckett.ac.uk/research/centre-for-health-promotion/. You will work across our portfolio of impactful research on promoting health equity and community health and wellbeing. This will include all types of research methods, including qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, mixed methods evaluations, participatory research and evidence synthesis. You will also support our activity in identifying and producing research applications for funders and producing reports, journal articles and other research outputs. Training and support will be provided, but it will be expected that you will have previous experience and evidence of autonomous academic work.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who will work effectively with the team of researchers and staff at Leeds Beckett University and with external partners.
The candidate will be located within the School of Health at Leeds Beckett University (City campus).
You will have a postgraduate degree in an area related to health/ public health and some experience of undertaking research as part of a team. Ideally you will have experience of qualitative and quantitative research methods and of literature reviews.
The person appointed should be able to start work on 1 August 2023 and this post is fixed term until 31 July 2026.
