Your role
Develop new and improving existing methods for constructing systematic rules-based strategies with a focus on long-only equity space; experience with climate/sustainable rules-based or index strategies will be a plus.
Design/research/proto-type new products and investment strategies. Work actively, with IT teams on deploying the strategy in UBS IT production systems.
Participate actively in the management of a number of rules-based systematic portfolios, including implementing a portfolio rebalance, monitoring strategy performance/risk characteristics, sustainable/climate profile of the strategy.
Contribute to the maintenance, improvement and automation of the team code base, dashboards, reporting tools, documentation, etc.
Actively participate in client meetings and represent the organization as a recognized quantitative financial expert. Also, support the gathering and presentation of data for clients both in response to requests and in preparation for meetings.
Manage data and processes and mentoring junior staff to do so.
Be able to participate actively in cross-divisional efforts or projects.

Your expertise
An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics), CFA ideal
Experience in a quantitative/systematic investment and strong interest/experience in sustainable investments.
Experience managing systematic portfolios or experience with portfolio lifecycle and monitoring.
Attention to detail, accuracy and timely delivery.
Excellent programming and development skills including PYTHON, and database systems such as SPARK, SQL-ORACLE or Azure. Also, experience in version control systems (such as git), including maintaining git repositories / environments.
Team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication and presentation skills.
