Job Description Porter - Theatres Location: Rivers Hospital, Sawbridgeworth Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time Salary: Depending on your experience + Benefits Summary: The Rivers Hospital is one of the leading private hospitals in the UK and being just off the M11, it is easily accessible from London and the Home Counties. The Role: The role is physically demanding and involves working with Waste removal, Medical gas bottle changing, Handling and placing deliveries, Movement of patient trolleys and beds, taking in Laundry deliveries and plenty of other varied manual handling duties for which full training will be provided. We are currently looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, computer literate person with good communication and interpersonal skills. You will have ideally worked in a similar Porter position previously, however full training will be given. What you’ll bring with you: Professional and confident IT skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Accuracy and reliability The ability to work independently and as part of a team Initiative with a flexible and proactive approach to work Good attention to detail Who we're looking for: The ideal candidate will be happy to work in a Manual role Previous Healthcare experience would be advantageous Exceptional Customer Service skills Has a full clean driving licence Benefits: Competitive Salary dependent on experience.
