POST 1: 35.00 Hrs per week on a 14 week rota working 5/7days that includes dayshift, backshift and nightshift (7 on 7 off)

POST: 2 21.00 Hrs per week working 3/7days that includes dayshift and backshift and weekend

POST: 3: BANK as and when required

An opportunity has arisen in our Support Service team to provide portering services to our wards and departments at Queen Margaret and Lynebank Hospitals.

You will be reliable and flexible and have the ability to work alone or as part of a team for these posts.
Good communication skills are necessary to perform this role safely and effectively.

Previous portering experience is desirable although full training will be provided.

This post requires you to have full clean driving license.

Manual handling duties can vary from patient movement throughout the hospitals via chairs, trolleys and beds. Delivery of goods which include mail-room duties, meal trolleys, pharmacy, stores, furniture moves and collection of waste throughout hospital and any ad hoc service as required.

You will be provided with uniform, safety footwear and personal protective equipment where this is required and will be expected to adhere to the NHS Fife Dress Code.

We offer competitive rates of pay £11.15 per hour and enhancements for backshift, weekend working, annual leave entitlement as well as personal development opportunities for those applicants interested in joining our team.
