Vacancies have arisen for Porters to join the busy Logistics Department at QA Hospital
Duties include communicate with patients relatives and clinical staff to ensure that wards and departs are fully aware of all patient/equipment movement. The collection of waste/dirty laundry from all areas and the operation of a large mechanical waste compactor
Enthusiasm and flexibility are essential qualities required.A full clean driving licence is required
Monthly paid and uniform is supplied. A first class training package which includes all training necessary. Benefits include a good annual leave entitlement and can join the NHS pension scheme.
A FULL CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE IS REQUESTED FOR THIS POST.
IN LINE WITH TRUST GUIDELINES THIS POST REQUIRES CANDIDATES TO PROVIDE 5 YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT AND/OR PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES
The posts are monthly paid, and a uniform is supplied. The successful applicants will receive a first class training package, which includes all training necessary to safely undertake Portering duties. Other benefits include a generous annual leave entitlement and the opportunity to join the NHS Pension Scheme.
