£10.37 - £18.97 per hour plus accrued holiday pay

This is a full-time Portering role, based at the Evesham Community Hospital WR11 1JT
This is a Band 2 position paying £10.37 - £18.97 per hour.
Hours: Flexible Working Available
Responsibilities will cover several areas such as;
- To provide a portering and messenger service, including the transfer of patients and visitors between wards and departments including A&E admissions to wards and transfers between A&E, X-ray and wards.
- To collect and deliver a range of goods including, drugs, bloods, furniture, feed bottles, case notes, specimens, x-rays and medical gas cylinders.
- To be responsible for the regular and sufficient removal of general, recycling and clinical waste.
- To ensure all waste streams are segregated, handled, and disposed of in line with the site requirements.
- To comply with the health and safety procedures when moving waste around the site.
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
The skills required are
- Happy to be in a fast-paced physical role
- Eye for detail
- Food hygiene knowledge
- A good understanding of spoken and written English.
- Trained in Manual Handling
