Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Cargo Handling department at the Port of Sunderland.
The role contributes to the success of the Port of Sunderland by delivering cargo handling services at the Port with particular emphasis on the operation of the Port’s cranes.
We are looking for someone who has skills and experience that demonstrates familiarisation of the operation of cranage and plant equipment. Experience within a Port environment is required.
The successful candidate will undertake specialist work utilising Port cranage and other items of plant and machinery, in line with the operational needs of customers.

Overtime, standby and/or call out payments are also available depending on workload.
The successful postholder will be expected to work during unsocial hours or weekends on an annualised basis.
