Integrity and provenance are the foundations of Samuel Heath ever since the company first began to manufacture the finest pieces of solid brassware from their premises in Birmingham, England.
Job purpose
The Polisher is responsible for the preparation, linishing and polishing of components to the required high-quality standard across all product ranges. The majority of components will be brass, but some other materials may be involved from time to time.
The role will involve intricate & physical work and require good attention to detail. The Polisher will be responsible for the quality of their own work and tidiness of the work area.
Duties and responsibilities
Health, Safety and Environmental duties

Role Duties
- Manual polishing of components.
- Use of hand tools and polishing machinery.
- Inspecting components for quality defects.
- Ensuring quality standards are met at all times.
- Adhering to agreed manufacturing routes & instructions.
- Maintaining the housekeeping and cleanliness of the assembly area and benches.
- Any other duties that may from time to time be reasonably expected.
Qualifications/ experience
- Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
Skills & Attributes
- Dexterous manual polishing skills.
- Ability to work in a safe and methodical manner.
- Good eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines.
- A good attitude, flexible to challenges and possible changes is essential.

- Monday to Thursday- 07:30 to 16:00 and Friday- 07:30 to 12:30
