Job description
I am currently working with a London Borough or are currently looking for an experienced Team Leader in their Planning Policy team on an interim basis. In this post, you will be lead planner in contributing to the delivery of an efficient and effective Planning Strategy, including engagement with developers and other key bodies in the delivery of quality developments, strategic sites and a robust planning policy framework. My client has specified that an applicant with some Development Management experience would be ideal although this is no essential. The successful candidate will be expected to lead on a range of Planning Strategy tasks, including the identification and selection strategic sites allocated within Local Plans and the preparation of associated masterplans and site-specific planning briefs. In addition, you must have a degree in Town & Country Planning or an affiliated subject with good communication and report writing skills.
