The Policy and Public Affairs Assistant supports the work of the Policy and Public Affairs team in delivering real change and reform in the best interests of children. The post holder will work across the Policy Teams in Wales and Northern Ireland and will be responsible for undertaking policy work to achieve the NSPCC's strategic goals, using their skills and experience to strengthen the NSPCC's impact on public policy, and in doing so make a significant contribution to keeping children safe.
We're looking for someone with a clear commitment to keeping children safe and strong skills in researching, analysing and summarising key information to support the work of the Policy and Public Affairs team. The post holder should also demonstrate excellent administrative and IT skills to support with managing engagements with external audiences and organising events. Finally, we're looking for someone who works well across different teams and can support a range of priorities in one or more of our workstreams.
