Job description
- Sunday to Thursday 5pm-10pm
- Daily receipt, collation and scanning of all customer POD's
- Storage and filing of POD's in line with established company processes
- Dealing with and resolving customer delivery and POD queries in a confident and timely manner
- Responsibility for maintenance and upkeep of customer PO numbers
- Provide assistance in clearing all unbilled reports in line with company policy
- Assist the Credit Controller with issuing of customer statements and resolution of queries, credit insurance control checks and customer set up
- Provide assistance and back up in running daily/weekly sales across the companies
- Ensure all customer forms are completed in line with internal company policies and external compliance guidelines
- Any other adhoc duties as required by Management Accountant or Financial Controller.
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of 3 A-Levels (or equivalent)
- Proven ICT skills, with a proficiency in Microsoft office, particularly excel
- Previous experience in scanning, and working with POD's
- A clear advantage will be given to those with previous experience of Mandata and a background in the transport industry
- Clear and demonstrable experience of working in a high volume, transactional team
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
