Job description

We are looking for a Lambeth, London based Plumbing Apprentice to join our team.

We are looking for reliable candidates who are committed to starting and completing this apprenticeship, who have good timekeeping and attendance, and who are as determined to gain the qualification alongside the work experience.

Job Role:

• Assist with unloading and moving of deliveries/systems on site
• Keep site tidy and safe in line with company health and safety policy
• Assisting with the installation of fixtures, pipes, sinks, toilets, showers/baths, and drainage
• Assisting with the installation and decommissioning of radiators, boilers, and other heating systems such as underfloor

Key Info:

• 7am to 4pm shift (incl. 1 hr lunch)
• Monday to Friday
• Wage offered is dependant on level + age (based on National Minimum Wage / JIB rates)
• Statutory Sick and Holiday Pay + Bank Holiday Pay, Automatic enrolment into the NEST Pension Scheme, PPE, Subsidised travel included

Requirements:

• 4 GCSE's C/4 or above - must include English Language and Maths
• Relevant plumbing qualifications or college start date
• Good communication + IT Skills
• Strong time-keeping

Upon completion of this apprenticeship, you can work as a qualified Junior Plumber where, with more experience, you can work towards a senior position, site/contracts/project management, self-employment, or plumbing & heating business owner.

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Salary: £5.00-£12.00 per hour
