Maintenance Craftsperson - Plumber, Band 4
Salary: £25,914 - £28,187 per annum; £13.25 - £14.42 per hour
A permanent opportunity has arisen for 3 Maintenance Craftsperson – Plumber to join our team within the Estates Division based at Perth Royal Infirmary.
The post holder is required to install, repair, maintain and carry out statutory compliance checks to Plumbing Fixtures and Equipment within Perth Royal Infirmary and to ensure the safe operation of the Plumbing & Drainage Systems.
Minimum requirements for the post are completion of a Plumbing apprenticeship and registered EITB or CITB plus HNC/ONC/BTEC Building and Engineering Services (Plumbing) or City & Guilds 596 Advanced Craft Certificate in both Sanitary Plumbing and Installation & Maintenance of Domestic Heating Systems & Appliances, or Equivalent Approved Qualifications.
Participation in an on-call rota and the ability to travel between NHS sites is required.
The Post holder will be required to work at any NHS Tayside property as necessary, therefore the ability to travel is essential.
Hours of work: 0800 – 1600 Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Inductions standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
