Plumber
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
- Test plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns or questions
Requirements:
- CSCS card
- Own transport
- Own hand tools and power tools
- Experience working on new build housing developments
- Proven experience as a plumber or completion of an apprenticeship program
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Proficiency in assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and angles
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and equipment
- Valid driver's license for commercial driving purposes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Familiarity with pipe threading techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: £150.00-£300.00 per day

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Canterbury, Kent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Plumbing: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- CSCS (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
- City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent (required)
- Gas Safe Registration (preferred)
- Unvented Hot water (preferred)
