Job description
An experienced, enthusiastic, suitably qualified Plumber is required to support the development of the Wishford group of independent schools.
The successful candidate is likely to have experience of working in a multi-site business.
Working within the newly formed central minor works team, the Plumber will take responsibility for:
- All aspects of plumbing including:
- Repair works
- Upgrades
- Servicing
- Minor works projects
Working within the newly formed central minor works team, the role will undertake both responsive and planned plumbing, to a very high standard, at the group’s schools in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Reading. The role may also occasionally involve some general maintenance support and is a one-year, fixed-term, full-time role.
A competitive package of salary and benefits is available, including a pension, free lunches and the potential for discounted school fees. Salary is dependent on experience but expected to be in the range of £33,000-38,000 per annum, plus use of a company vehicle, tools and a uniform.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in plumbing.
- Clean driving licence.
