Guinness Property provide repairs and maintenance services to The Guinness Partnership. Our national teams deliver rapid-response housing repairs, maintenance, and improvement services to ensure that our customers’ homes are safe and maintained to high standard.

About the Apprenticeship

We think our apprenticeship programme is one of the best in the UK, offering a wide range of learning and practical knowledge. We have a new opportunity for an Plumber Apprentice based in Oldham.

The apprenticeship is expected to last 48 months and you will be working towards achieving a Plumbing and domestic heating technician (level 3) qualification.

You will work 39 hours per week which will consist of 4 days of on-the-job training and 1 day dedicated to college-based learning. Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm.

Throughout your apprenticeship you will be assigned a mentor who will work closely with you to provide all the learning and development support you need to succeed.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and committed, with good practical skills and an interest in their chosen trade. It’s important you enjoy working as part of a team, have a ‘can do’ attitude and good communication skills along with a desire to learn. You will also be genuinely passionate about providing a great service to our customers.

To succeed in this position, you will need a positive attitude and be keen to make a significant commitment to your own personal development and career.

We are looking for apprentices who will stay with us, and progress through the company supporting our growth whilst building your own individual career success.

Qualifications:

  • Attained or working towards five Level 2 qualifications (GCSEs at grade C/4 or above) including English and Maths
  • Hold or work towards gaining a Full UK Driving Licence (desirable).
