An opportunity has arisen in the Directorate of Environment & Regeneration within Lighting & Building Services Section for the recruitment of an Apprentice Plumber.

This is a Fixed Term 2 Year Full time post until 31/08/2025 due to funding.

The Foundation Apprenticeship is within Lighting & Building Services based at Tregelles Court. Building Services undertakes Building Maintenance on the Council’s buildings including e.g. Schools and Civic buildings.

Within the apprentice post you will be required to follow a framework of learning activities which will include a City & Guilds qualification.

The scope of the work covered will include Maintenance and Refurbishment works to authority buildings.

Qualifications Required: Minimum of 2 GCSE’s, minimum grade C - Maths and English/Welsh or their equivalent.

Welsh Language skills are not required when appointed to the post.
