Job description

At Elite Careers we are looking for qualified and experienced plumbers for our well known client around the East London area.

Some of your duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and handymen, to complete projects
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to move materials and equipment
• Use basic math skills to measure, cut, and bend pipes accurately
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus
• Assist with remodelling projects as necessary

Skills:

• Strong plumbing skills and knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London, SE1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
