This is an excellent opportunity for a Plumber to be part of our maintenance team. working on day-to-day repairs through to major improvements to council housing.

The successful applicant will also be required to have a knowledge and ability to undertake a range of other associated trades.

Person specification:

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a ‘can do’ approach to work and would enjoy the challenge of making our Housing Property Services even more successful.
  • Have the ability to carry out a range of duties from general Plumbing repairs to major improvement works in households within the Chesterfield and surrounding area.
  • Be qualified to NVQ or equivalent.
  • Enjoy working both within a team or individually.
  • Be hard working and show initiative. Have excellent people skills and to be able to demonstrate care and compassion.
  • Previous experience of working in social housing would be beneficial, although not essential.
  • Hold a current full UK driving license
