The Merchant Hotel has the following vacancy:
Maintenance Plumber and Heating Engineer
The role involves:
- All aspects of maintenance covering Plumbing, and Heating along with various trades including minor electrical which are required to maintain the running of the hotel, while working as part of a small team of maintenance engineers.
The successful candidate will be:
- Qualified time served Plumbing and heating
- Proven experience within a maintenance environment (minimum 3 years desirable five years) Ideally within the hospitality / service sector.
- Good I.T. Skills
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Ability to deal with other contractors or maintenance staff and various Heads of Departments
- Resourceful and self-motivated
- Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative
- Required to work a weekend every 4 weeks.
