Plumbers required (SMART METERS) OX, HP, SL, RG, GL postcodes.
NVQ LVL 2 (minimum) mandatory qualification for this position.
The primary focus of this job entails the installation and fitting of smart meters at customer's home. The work will be divided equally between surveying and meter fitting, predominantly involving external tasks related to cold-water plumbing.
Given that this role involves entering people's houses, it is essential that we ensure the safety and security of our clients. Therefore, we kindly request that you possess a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and DNA check.
If you have already undergone these checks and possess the necessary certificates, there is no need to repeat them.
The DNA check is particularly important as it guarantees the safety of households with children.
- Commitment to full-time employment is expected, with one Saturday shift every four weeks
- Full PPE will be provided
- Plumbers are expected to complete 7-9 jobs per day within a 9-hour working day
- Overtime will be considered based on agreement with the Area or Operations Manager
- A 3-day induction program will be provided, followed by 2 weeks of training with a qualified plumber from the company
- Resources such as a van, phone and small tolls can be provided/ offered as a contra charge
- If you have a plain white van without logos that is less than 6 years old, you can use it , otherwise a company van will be provided , with a deduction on £200/week
