AMCO Distributors Retford is an independent family run business, proud of its customer service and ability to supply the customer an exceptional product at a competitive price.
We have been trading for over 35 years to industry, trade and DIY sectors supplying plumbing & electrical materials. In the past 10 years our bathroom showroom has become a high priority aspect to our business. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic motivated person to join our team to concentrate on expanding our branch.
Knowledge and experience of this industry are essential to this role. Please do not apply if you do not meet this criteria.
The salary will be dependent on your experience.
The Role:
- As an Internal sales person you will be actively supporting the existing team in maximising profitable sales offering excellent customer service at all times, in line with company policy and business plans
- Developing strategies for increasing existing business, new business and lapsed accounts
- Dealing with customer queries and resolving any issues
- Building, developing and managing relationships with customers
- Know your customers and your competition
- Must be willing to work at all levels including loading / unloading vehicles, checking and putting away stock
- Stock ordering
- Dealing with retail clients to secure bathroom sales – Training provided for this aspect although experience would be beneficial
The Person:
- Be confident working within a small team and alone
- Have the ability to learn new computer skills and adapt to the AMCO business procedures
- Be able to communicate at all levels, whether it be with your team or negotiating with your customer
- Be self-motivated, competitive and have a passion for sales
- Be dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for succeeding
- Knowledge of plumbing products essential electrical knowledge an advantage but not necessary.
