Job description
To provide robust, efficient, and professional support to the Player Support Department which ensures first class administrative standards and a high level of confidentiality.
The Role:
- Collate data and prepare reports/dashboards/info graphics and analysis for executive management on a monthly and annual basis. These reports will cover 1st Team, Academy, Women’s Team and Property Division.
- Manage all confidential documentation whilst maintaining database records including telephone numbers, addresses, BUPA records, passports, visas, NI numbers, approved suppliers, etc ensuring all data is up to date and accurate.
- Raise Purchase Orders for the department as and when required.
- Upload expenses and receipts for the department on Concur.
- Liaise with suppliers on necessary compliance documentation, as well as internal form completion.
- To act as superuser for internal online platforms – PMA
- To assist the Player Support Department with office duties (i.e. filing, photocopying, faxing, receipt of deliveries and postal duties).
- To assist with the administration of player fan mail.
- To provide occasional cover for Player Support Officers including attendance at 1st Team match days.
- Ad hoc duties and projects as directed by the Player Support Management.
- To maintain an accurate personal profile as directed.
- Ensure the department maintain compliance with all regulatory matters relating to player support and wellbeing.
- To create efficiency in working practice to maximize the impact of player support.
- Advanced computer literacy and software skills for data capture, storage, reporting and utilization (excel, powerB1, Airtable etc.
- Translation requirements as and when required.
- Significant experience within an administrative role.
- Advanced computer literacy including experience of typical data management and reporting tools.
- Trustworthy with integrity; capable of being privy to extremely confidential information without disclosure.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Attention to detail in all areas.
- A commitment to driving forwards continuous improvement in their working environment.
- Excellent personal qualities such as communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure.
- A professional telephone manner.
- The successful candidate should exhibit pride in performance and possess high standards in the provision of service to Manchester United’s internal and external customers.
- A willingness to work flexible hours in accordance with the demands of the role.
- Knowledge and Proficiency of foreign languages, spoken and written (advantageous).
- Ensure compliance with the company’s safeguarding policy by completing the DBS process for work in a regulatory activity or at a regulatory environment.
