I'm working closely with one of the UK's leading money-saving websites. They partner with thousands of household name retailers and offer discounts and deals to their millions of users. They are an award-winning business with a presence in the UK and the US.
The Role
You'll be joining a high-performing Data Platform Team team that is responsible for data ingestion, data pipelining, and data modelling.
What you'll do…
✔️ Partner with the Data Platform team to deliver data models to the Data Science and BI teams
✔️ Write and run scripts using Python and SQL
✔️ Find creative ways to optimise data models and ETL pipelines
✔️ Maintain CI/CD pipelines
✔️ Manage orchestration services using Airflow and Kubernetes

Your skillset...
- SQL (essential)
- Python (essential)
- AWS (essential)
- Redshift or Snowflake
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles (nice to have)
- Interaction with orchestration tools such as Airflow and/or Kubernetes (nice to have)
- Knowledge of Infra-as-Code principles (nice to have)
- An interest or knowledge in MLOps, DevOps, and/ or Analytics Engineering (highly desirable but not essential)

MLOps - continue to expand your knowledge in Data Science as you partner with the team
DevOps - find creative ways to improve continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.
Analytics Engineering - continue to expand your data modelling skills as you support Business Analytics with advanced transformations.
Your experience...
You will need experience working on designing complex pipelines using either SQL or Python. You will have familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow and Kubernetes either in a commercial or academic setting. You will have ideally worked with a retail, eCommerce, and/ or Marketplace environment to have a solid understanding of the metrics and KPIs.
