C.H. Middleton Ltd. have an opportunity for a Yard Operative to join them based in Doncaster. They are offering a competitive salary. Salary will be further increased for those candidates that poses additional useful qualifications such as Class 2 License / forklift etc.
C.H. Middleton Ltd. provide skip hire and waste services in the local and surrounding area of South Yorkshire.
The primary aim of this Yard Operative role is to undertake yard duties, manual and machinery picks and coordinate activities in the waste transfer.
Other responsibilities as our Yard Operative include
- Incoming and outgoing material supervision, including the management of customers tipping waste.
- Safe and secure storage,
- Material loading / 360 Plant Operation, and minor maintenance,
- Other related issues in order to meet the business needs,
- Ensuring compliance with the Company’s health and safety and environmental policies and procedures
The following attributes are required for the Yard Operative role:
- Self-motivated, genuine with a friendly positive attitude,
- The ability to communicate effectively with all members of the team,
- Excellent organisation skills and good time management,
- The ability to keep an organised and tidy work area,
- Must be flexible to undertake any other reasonable duties as required,
- Mobile Plant experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £11.00-£14.00 per hour
