We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Planning Senior Manager to join our Planning team, reporting to the Head of Planning & MI. Who are we? The role You will report into the Head of Planning & MI and your key responsibilities will include: Assist with review of elements of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) activity with key dependencies on other Finance teams and the business, e.g. MI team, Strategy team Lead implementation of new Segmentation approach into AOP (metrics and reporting etc.) Assist in defining and running various illustrative scenarios to support AOP Understand the timetable to deliver AOP and drives this forward day by day, identifying and alerting the Head of Planning & MI of the implications and potential solutions where plan is not on track Responsible for defining and ensuring relevant segmental plan information is included in quarterly BRM meetings Assist in production of Board materials for presenting AOP to LifeCo and Group Boards. What are we looking for? Senior finance professional with financial services experience, insurance experience is preferable Proven track record in providing timely, accurate, reliable and informative financial information High quality communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a straightforward and unambiguous manner Proven experience of assisting in leading and developing well performing teams We want to hire the whole version of you.
