Company Information

Green Origins is a leading European superfoods business based on the outskirts of Sheffield. Established in 2008, we import a range of 80+ superfoods direct from growers around the world and sell them under our own brands, in bulk and in private label. We are the BRAND behind many UK and European superfood brands.

The plant-based nutrition sector is growing exponentially and we’ve been fortunate enough to be part of that growth. Over the last 7 years we’ve grown at over 60% per year on average from a small 2-man start-up to a 50-person business with multiple international distributors, several of our own retail brands and a wide range of high street brands that rely on us for superfood ingredients and private label. Our business growth has been recognised by two Queens Awards and the 2019 “Grocer Food & Drink Fast 50” where we were placed at 19th in their list of the fastest growing food brands. In addition to this we have been awarded over 10 Great Taste Awards.

Key facts aside, the most important thing is who we are and what we are trying to achieve. We are on a mission to make healthy eating easier, to make a meaningful social impact and to become the leading superfood business. Our culture is friendly, fast-paced, informal yet professional. The work environment can be demanding due to the steep growth curve we’re on and the changes that entails, but this can be tremendously rewarding if you’re ambitious, want to learn and develop and have the energy to make a real impact.

Social impact and sustainability are not a bolt-on for the business, they are at the core of what we do and who we are and have been long before it became trendy. We have been working with one of our two key charity partners - Rainforest Concern - for over 10 years and started working with them within months of starting the business. Our other key partner is Warka Water where we are currently supporting them to build 10 water towers in Cameroon to bring clean water to 5 villages.

This is a genuinely exciting time to get involved in superfoods/plant-based nutrition and join a business that has ambitious plans for this sector. If you’re up for the challenge get in touch.
