Job description

Applicants are invitedfor enthusiastic, lively and motivated radiographers who would be interested in working in our friendly department at Cannock Chase Hospital. We have state of the art digital radiography systems throughout the Trust including mobile x-ray units. This is a new post to support the increased activity in the orthopaedic theatres.

You must have a degree or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography, and be registered with the HCPC. Applicants should have recent NHS experience.

Hours will include weekends and bank holidays

The post holder will work on a rotation, undertaking radiographic duties in the Radiology Department including theatre and portable work.

To be familiar with the principles of clinical governance and to strive to maintain and improve the quality of patient care, showing courtesy and consideration at all times.

To undertake diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining the highest possible standards.

To supervise the work and standards of Radiographers, Radiology Assistant Practitioners and Radiographer Helpers.

To work as a member of the team and, where applicable, facilitate the professional development of other personnel.
