Fuoco's Pizza trading in The Phoenix Bar at Alexandra Palace is looking for a new Pizza Chef to join our team of pizza chef and chef. Alexandra Palace hosts many concerts, sporting events and festivals each year while also being open to the public 7 days a week.
We are offering £35,000/annum for a 48hr work, £15/hr overtime rate, weekly hours are 50-55. Immediate start.
You will be responsible for:
- Excepting and storing deliveries
- Correct stock rotation
- Daily prepartions of MEP
- Maintaining a clean working kitchen
- Clean and organising the kitchen at the end of the day
- Daily Dough management(dough is produced centrally, no need to make dough)
- Streching dough
- Topping to company standards
- Cooking and serving the pizza(use of buzzer system)
- maintaining an organised wash up area as part of a team
- Customer facing role and will require a freindly approachable personality
- Help chef in kitchen if required with sides
The right candidate will have
- 1-2 years experience working with Neapolitan style pizza
- Able to manage a pizza oven, we use an electric Esposito Forni
- A self starter and the ability to work under pressure when required
- A good attitude to work and an understanding of what level of work is required in hospitality
- Will have a Level 2 Food Handling Certificate, training and course provided if needed
- Happy, friendly manner and enjoys working with others
