Picking Operative Colchester, England
Job description
We are one of the leading food manufacturers supplying chilled and frozen food to the healthcare market. Based in Colchester, Essex, we have a new and excellent opportunity for a Picking Operative to join our team.
Flexibility is required.
Shift Time: Monday to Friday - 12 noon to 20.30 hrs
40 hours per week.
Starting rate of pay is £10.84 per hour
Applicants must have:
- A good work ethos, and a flexible working approach to tasks and hours
- High manual dexterity
- Ability to lift weights up to 25k
- Good attention to detail
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- The ability to manage their own time effectively to achieve given daily tasks and targets within a small team
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment and in both hot and cold environments.
- You will be required to work in frozen, and chilled work areas.
- Full PPE provided when working in freezer/chilled areas.
- Ensure all route orders are picked against pick sheets.
