Premier Work Support are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity working with a global leader in multi-sector catering based in Crawley. We are now recruiting for temporary full time Pickers and Packers starting ASAP. You will be required to work two early shifts 6:00am to 2:00pm and two late shifts 2:15pm to 10:45pm, followed by 2 rest days. In order to comply with strict aviation security regulations and due to the nature of this role we will be undertaking a full five-year checkable reference history and apply for a Basic DBS, Criminal record check before starting this position. Any applicants with non-UK based references will require the appropriate DBS check and translation of documents, and any gaps in employment must be accounted for. Key responsibilities: Following company standards you will be packing carts and the production trolleys. Carry out security checks of all airline stock and equipment in line with both CAA and DFT regulations. Ensuring stock levels are maintained and stock is rotated. Assist with supplying all relevant departments with the stock required. Carry out final security searches before trolleys are taken off site. Follow to all in-flight security compliance. Qualifications and Skills: Customer service focused. Able to work as part of a team. Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements. (role specific) Self-motivated. Ability to work under pressure to meet flight schedules. Basic literacy and numeracy skills. An excellent level of both written and verbal English, this is to comply with strict aviation security regulations. Benefits: 28 days holiday entitlement (including bank holidays).
