Role Overview:
You will be part of a small team playing a vital role in preparation and despatch of orders, upholding our service promise of 'same day shipment' of orders received by 4PM. Your careful & accurate work will ensure the right parts are shipped and your passion for organisation will keep things running smoothly.
Tasks will include assisting with or having responsibility for the following:
- Picking orders from pick notes
- Visual quality checking and packing for despatch
- Checking, batching & booking in of goods
- Organising stock in warehouse locations
- Stock quantity checking
- Other related tasks
Skills /Abilities required:
- Accurate, attending to detail
- Ability to learn about products & gain knowledge (training provided) so you can pick and check goods correctly
- Self-motivated to make best use of time as work load fluctuates
- Positive attitude
- Physically fit
- Able to lift small heavy boxes up to 25kg
- Strong team player, able to work happily alongside others in a small team
- Good work ethic, passion for organisation
- Basic computer literacy
- Good numeracy skills
- General willingness to learn & assist others as part of a team
Remuneration: from £26K + bonus
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Mon - Fri (no weekends) , 45 mins lunch break.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £26,000.00 per year
