Job description
We are working on behalf of one of our clients in the Gateshead area who are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team. This is a temporary ongoing position with a view to go permanent for the right person.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Working from a pick list to pack and prepare orders and ensure they are sent out to the customer on time and correctly
- Working to daily targets
- Off loading deliveries, scanning goods on receipt, moving onto pallets and putting stock away
- Wrapping and sealing of products
- Labelling products ready for despatch
- Ensuring orders are completed on time
- General housekeeping tasks
Experience
- Experience in a production, warehouse or factory environment is desirable but not essential
- Any previous experience in the use of any Manual Handling Equipment such as LOLOPs or Fork Lift Truck experience
- This role does require manually lifting the materials so applicants must be physically fit
Nightshift hours are 10.00pm - 6.00pm Sunday to Thursday
Pay rate is £10.13p/hr plus £19.64 per shift worked (averages at £12.58 p/hr)
