We are now recruiting within our Logistics Department for individuals, who with previous warehousing experience, are looking for a new opportunity in joining our team here in Woolston, Warrington.
You will already have at least 1 year experience of working in a warehouse/distribution environment. The role itself will involve picking and packing orders for our customers using both hand-held scanners in conjunction with a warehouse management system that you will utilise to pack the orders appropriately with the necessary labelling. In addition, it would be beneficial if you have familiarity with Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word and Excel as well as some exposure of operating mechanical handling equipment.
Demonstrating an organised and methodical discipline to your work schedule you will be used to working to deadlines and familiar with target/KPI environments. As a team player able to multi-skill and work under pressure you must be able to provide flexibility with working shifts. You will be required to work on a weekly schedule of 37.5 hour per week, Monday to Friday on a 12-8pm shift.
Full time contracts are 37.5 hours per week with a half an hour unpaid lunch break. Rate per hour is £10.52 (£20,500). A 5% contribution is also made by the business for pension contributions. Holiday entitlement is 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holiday per year with an additional 2 days provided at Christmas for closure. Cycle to work scheme available.
