Opportunities to train on FLT | Socialable hours | Family owned business!Job role: Picker/Packerrequired in Somercotes, DerbyshireHours: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pmAn excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Picker/Packer to join our client in Somercotes, they are a multi-award winning second generation family owned business, who are looking for enthusiastic individuals to be a part of the growth.Please bare in mind the below requirements:Heavy lifting is required and the role is very physical.Full work history required (no gaps).Candidates must be able to confidently use a handheld scanner.Benefits:Work as a Picker/Packer and conduct picking/packing for a growing warehouse, with lots of progression opportunities with a family owned business (Team leader, FLT Driver, Stores Control etc.)Pay every Friday, with a payslip ThursdayCasual dress - high vis and safety boots only requirementsTemp to perm after 12 weeks!Opportunities to train up on CB FLT if you do not have one. Pay rate increases after successful with that!Quarterly incentives - going for food with team, Christmas partiesResponsibilities:Working as a picker/packerLoading and unloading containersArranging and putting stock away within the warehouseWeighing palletsCleaning the warehouse daily, ensuring it is kept clean at all times.Forklift driver - putting pallets away, moving heavy stock around the warehouse (Please note if you do not have a FLT licence, the right candidate will be put through the FLT course which is paid for by the client)As a Warehouse Operative you be in charge of the order picking as well as taking products to be packed and ready for despatch.
