We are looking for a passionate and skilled tutor to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and some weekdays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one music instruction to students of various ages and skill levels
- Create individualized lesson plans to help students develop their skills and achieve their musical goals
- Teach students proper technique, music theory, and performance skills
- Provide feedback and support to students to help them improve and stay motivated
- Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance
Requirements:
- Excellent proficiency on both the piano and guitar.
- Passion for teaching and a desire to help students achieve their goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working grade 5 theory knowledge is attractive, but not essential
- Experience teaching music is preferred, but not required
- Additional instrument such as guitar is preferred but not required
