Integrated Care is all about providing better care and support to our patients, users and the people of Rochdale by coordinating our services more effectively, with the focus on improving the health and well-being of people across the borough. We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join the team at Tudor Court.
Tudor Court Intermediate Care Unit sits within the Integrated Community Services Directorate and is based in the Community of Heywood. It provides 24 beds for patients 18 years and upwards who have been assessed as requiring a period of rehabilitation to enable them to return home. We aim for patients to have a safe and timely discharge home within 14 days.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to support and engage with the wider therapy provision in Rochdale, working closely with our home in a day/D2A therapists and community services, to deliver a high quality, safe and effective team, supervising and delegating to junior and support staff.
You will be required to hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
You will need to be flexible, with good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
The team strives to ensure we provide an efficient and quality service to our patients with a focus on team working.
You will be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team. The team is focused to continuous improvement and service development and the successful applicant would be keen to contribute to this process.

- HCPC registered

- car user with business cover
- Significant post registration NHS experience including experience of working in all core clinical areas
- Experience of working as part of an integrated MDT
- Evidence of supervising other staff and students
- evidence of CPD

- Experience of working in the community and/or rehabilitation unit
