Physiotherapist (Full- or Part time)

An excellent opportunity for an experienced MSK or graduate Physiotherapist.

Newcastle Sports Injury Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our dynamic, patient focused team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an active, professional environment with a focus on sports injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Based within our clinics, you will work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team to provide first class MSK care. The clinic will offer you the support and opportunity to develop your existing skills in MSK injury management for a wide variety of conditions and client groups.

Our extensive client-base represents a wide range of patient populations providing opportunities to work with private self-referrals, consultant referrals and in sport (both elite and amateur), occupational health, rehabilitation, and with acute and complex neuro-musculoskeletal conditions.

This position will suit you if you are a Physiotherapist who wishes to use and develop your hands-on assessment, manual therapy treatment, exercise and rehabilitation skills and enhance your own core skills as well as provide quality patient management amongst a team of like-minded, experienced professionals.

Training and mentorship will be provided. As well as regular CPD and an excellent and genuine career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conducting assessments and developing personalised treatment plans for patients, including elite and amateur sports people, members of the general public, and occupational health patients

· Providing hands-on manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation

· Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care

· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

· Participating in ongoing professional development and training

· Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with patients and referring physicians

Key Requirements:

· A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy,

· Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)

· Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)

Ideally you will have:

· Experience working with musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Commitment to ongoing professional development

Newcastle Sports Injury Clinic is based in Newcastle upon Tyne and operates from 3 different locations.
The main clinic is in Newcastle’s vibrant city centre, just a few steps away from all the main shopping areas and all the other attractions of this wonderful city, with an excellent position to get access to all public transport systems.
The Newcastle-based clinic is at the modern Sport and Fitness Centre on the campus of Newcastle University and our Northumberland clinic is based in Alnwick, also integrated in the local Sport and Leisure Centre there.

Full or Part time will be considered with an amount of flexibility to cover the clinic’s opening hours (Monday – Saturday).

Start date: Flexible, depending on your availability.
