Cornwall Hospice Care is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Physiotherapist to be based at our hospice in St Austell. You will need to remain flexible to work between Hayle site and community Hubs.
Our purpose is to make every day the best day possible for our patients and their families in Cornwall.
You will use specialist skills to provide a holistic palliative Physiotherapy service for inpatients (and outpatients when required). The emphasis being on Function, frequently compromised by symptoms including breathlessness, fatigue, anxiety and pain; Rehabilitation and Enablement, empowering patients to have maximum choice and control over their own lives; Person Centred Goal Setting, identifying and addressing patient’s priorities and maintaining quality of life and independence within the specialist palliative care setting.
This post offers the opportunity to work with a highly specialist multi-disciplinary team providing care and support for people with cancer and other life limiting illnesses. Your hours can be flexible to accommodate a balance between work and personal life in beautiful Cornwall.

You will have held your own caseload, have excellent communication and planning skills, with a diploma or degree in Physiotherapy and be MCSP/HCPC Registered.
