PA for 63 year old gentleman for up to 12 hours p/w @ £10.82/hr in Kingswood BS15

Personal Assistant required for disabled man in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire to support with daily living needs, including administration support, meal preparation, accessing the community and maintaining a liveable environment. Personal care is provided through a care agency but may occasionally be required from PA. Client likes to as independent as possible and would like to continue to live independently as much as possible.
Main Duties:
Hours and Hourly rate: 6 hours on Wednesday (1200-1800) and 6 hours on Friday (1200-1800) at £10 per hour
*Additional hours may become available if other PA takes holiday or goes off sick*
PA Requirements:
Main Duties:
- Support required for eating and drinking including feeding, cutting and meal preparation.
- Support required with taking medication, shopping, laundry, finance management (via online banking), paying bills and replying to correspondence.
- Support also required for positioning until comfortable, maintaining relationships with peers and accessing the community (requires support with driving powered wheelchair) .
- Support client with maintaining a clean and habitable environment.

PA Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience of moving and handling
- Experience with and/or use of electric wheelchairs
- Awareness of respecting professional and personal boundaries
- Flexible, motivated and reliable
- Highly trustworthy and organised
- Ability to act in a patient, calm and non-judgemental manner
