Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and reliable Band 3 rehabilitation therapy assistant to join the Therapy Team in the South of Powys. The post will support the community services and offers an existing band 2 or someone with a passion for working in the health or social care field the opportunity to develop their career. The post will be based in the Community Therapy Team in Ystradgynlais Hospital but there may be an expectation to cover South Powys.
The successful candidate will work closely with our friendly multidisciplinary team to assist in the delivery of high quality and timely care. The post holder will provide community rehabilitation under the direction of the occupational therapists and physiotherapists, enabling patients to be as independent as possible.The role will include supporting patients in a hospital setting, or in the community. The broad and varied workload also offers every opportunity to further your experience and ensure you are never bored!
The successful candidate will receive regular supervision, access to training and support to achieve personal development objectives.
