Job description

As Photography Specialist Technician, you will be part of an embedded technical team delivering workshops and support to students within the Media School Photography Programme. You will be on hand to provide guidance and advice, assisting staff and students with photographic technical problems in darkroom and film processing, studio use, camera and lighting techniques, whilst ensuring that students adhere to Health & Safety and best practice. You will also remain responsible for the daily maintenance of processors and equipment.

Your profile

You will have an art school or photography background with the ability to provide guidance and support across the range of photographic disciplines both analogue and digital. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated person who can also contribute to the technological growth of the department.
