At Lidl, we’re Big on brilliant creative. Big on making stuff that puts smiles on faces and products in Trolleys. And we’re on the lookout for an exceptional Photography Project Manager to support us on a 4-month FTC (Fixed Term Contract).
This is a role for someone from a Digital Asset Management background or similar. A great communicator who’s proactive and driven, keen to deliver a project from start to finish with proven experience taking large amounts of data from various excel documents, collating it and using it to form and implement a project plan.
Equally happy presenting your ideas as you are getting buy-in, you’ll be expected to be build relationships with colleagues at all levels whilst working independently.
To see the project though from start to finish, you’ll need to be someone who can roll their sleeves up and really get involved whether that be sourcing samples from store or tagging and checking images in Photoshop.
We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. What you'll do
- Create a master list of products, check and confirm with buyers and stakeholders the current image status.
- Generate contact sheets for approval or list items for photographing.
- Update and maintain the accuracy of the master list at all times providing visibility to all key users.
- Oversee and manage the project timings keeping them on track and regularly advising stakeholders of progress.
- Oversee the acquisition, photographing and processing of all samples to brand standards.
- Work in collaboration with the Lidl Plus team
- Managing third party suppliers in a time and cost efficient way
- Resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner before they become problems
- Ensuring correct naming and processing of packshot images to a high standard
- Improving and overseeing server and file management of product images for all key users
What you'll need
- To be a proven project manager and problem solver who has experience working in a Marketing, Creative or Photographic team.
- An understanding of high quality in-house image requirements and brand standards
- Experience working with or managing a Photographic DAM (database) preferably with FMCG brands.
- Experience working with or managing photographers and/or retouchers.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels across multiple channels
- Excellent attention to detail, and ability to process large volumes of data
Programme & OS experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Adobe Photoshop, Bridge
- Capture one – Preferred but not essential
- Familiar with a project management system (e.g. Monday or Asana)
- MAC OS
