We are Londonist DMC - a customer-focused award-winning student accommodation agency! It was a humble beginning that started in 2013 with 30 rooms and had an impressive growth over the last 8 years; currently counting over one thousand rooms in about 45 different locations across London in Zones 1, 2, and 3. Our portfolio includes student residences at King’s Cross, Spitalfields, Old Street, Highbury, Islington, Camden, Greenwich, and many more.

Londonist DMC has 3 offices: London, İstanbul, and Shanghai.

We are looking for an experienced freelance photographer & videographer to help us create high-quality content.

The successful candidate is an exceptional photographer & videographer, with strong editing skills, with ability to travel across London's locations and shoot content for Londonist residences & events.

Working closely with key partners across marketing, this individual will play a critical role in helping us expose brand awareness through the making of strategic content.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • The organising and scheduling of various video shoots based on company needs and requirements and to meet all necessary deadlines.
  • The Creation of visual assets as required and in line with brand guidelines.
  • The pre-production of any and all video shoots required to be undertaken for company.
  • The storage and organise of assets and data into a manageable and referanceable format.
  • To work alongside the marketing team and design team to formulate stylized shoots to match the strategy of branding the company has implemented.
  • The editing of all video assets on a regular basis and to deadline.
  • Taking photos of company residences and events.
  • Editing photos using preferred software

Skills and Experience:

  • Fluent in general video editing software
  • Fluent in the use of a camera for shooting videos/film.
  • An understanding of colour grading
  • Experience in shooting long form content i.e. Interviews
  • Ability to edit videos into social media reel format
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to organise and schedule own work and to work independently
  • Ablility to travel

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £15.00 per hour

  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Video editing: 2 years (required)
  • Videography: 2 years (required)
