Job description
The Wave, Bristol, are recruiting for a team of Photographers to deliver high quality photography to serve to our guests as part of their experience at The Wave. These are brand new, fix term roles starting in June through to October, with both 30 hours and zero hour contracts available.

About the team …
The Photography team plays a key part of the marketing team. This is a small, agile team of passionate marketers driven to achieve commercial success at The Wave whilst growing The Wave brand to a much greater audience. They are willing to test and learn ideas in pursuit of success and welcome ideas from all parts of the team to improve performance every day.
About you …
Reporting to the Photography Supervisor, as our Photographer you will be responsible for capturing high quality photography to serve to guests as part of their experience at The Wave. You’ll also be part of The Wave’s content creation strategy, capturing other elements of ‘life’ at The Wave to be used in marketing and communications.
About the role …
The main objective of the Photography team is covered in 2 areas.
Guest Photography
- Take inspiring and innovative shots of guests during their Wave experience.
- Ensure that our guests leave happy and with a smile on their faces.
- Encourage, listen and act upon customer feedback, allowing us to build amazing relationships with our visitors.
Marketing Content
- Take inspiring & innovative shots of the wider site, capitalising on access at different times of day & sessions and across the differing seasons.
- Work with the marketing team to support the capture of visiting groups, ad hoc opportunities and be on alert for capturing great moments around the entire site.
How you will make an impact ..
- Take high quality images, that reflect a great customer experience
- Performing editing and distribution efficiently
- You will build strong relationships with the Marketing team, ensuring high levels of communication and alignment in brand.
Your background …
- You will have a portfolio of high quality surf /action sports photographs
Our ideal Photographer will be customer experience focused with great communication and people skills. You’ll be able to multitask across your various tasks with a ‘sleeves rolled up’ approach.
